Has Gandhi's teachings lost relevance!

No, it’s not but violence has got a big space as always in our society, Nation and World over. Might is not Always right. Of course sometimes it is a need. Violence (by Thought, Words or Deeds) is always related with bravery, but few people understand that non – violence needs more courage, bravery then violence.

Non - Violence can’t lose its relevance nor the teachings of Gandhi to live with Nature with minimum use. But it’s difficult to practice. It should be taught from beginning, early childhood. It’s not that easy. It’s Rishi Parampara (Seer or Saint’s tradition). In positive, saintly atmosphere even Tigers behave like saint and take vegetarian foods even on fixed time. U can see Tigers living with monks in Monastery in Bangkok. Second - Valmik became saint only after getting lessons from  ' Sapt Rishi's'. In future he wrote “Ramayana". Who better knows these things than us? Impact of environment is greater than anything else.

There r lakhs of examples, example of Ashoka the Great and many more.  Gandhi's teaching came only after Gandhi practiced it and then walk on that path. It means first he made himself to walk on that path.   Gandhi became a “Kriya Yogi ". He was initiated (Diksha) by Gurudev Pramhansa Yogananda (YSS).

In Today’s social and political Life where Gandhi stands?

While the screams fade away

the echoes still remain

while the colours fade away..

the impressions are always left behind

Gandhi is a symbol for peace, justice, spokesperson and worker for downtrodden, a light house for Non - Violence, an identity for freedom struggle in world over with non - violence, name to remember, in books to study, a mascot; but not a person who could be in politics. This title draws Public Attention, Respect, and Faith; which most people or party doesn’t want or think fit for their politics. Everyone, every party wants Gandhi to use as per their wish, need and situation. The condition is same in social life too. Everyone and Every party use his Spectacle (Glass, Chasma), his stick and an old Gandhi as his Mascot or a symbol to show public and the world that they are true follower of Gandhi, His Thoughts, Views, Deeds and Non – Violence. Ram Dhun or Vaishnava Jan To Tene Kahiyea are used in this regard too. There is many a thing which can be writing in this regard even a book.

Who is Guru not Teacher. What is the difference between them. Types of teacher.

A Guru is not a Teacher. A Guru is one who has acknowledged me (us), in person, enlightened me (us) gave me (us) the purpose to live and who has shown me (us) the path through which I ( we) can progress.
Guru Govind Dou Khade Kako Lagu Paw,
Balihari Guru Apno Jin Govind Diyo Bataye.

Means Guru and God both r standing together, whose feet I (we) have to touch first. Its the Guru who has given  me(us) the knowledge only through which we came to know (recognized)God, so Guru's feet (to bow down before or take blessing)  should be touched First..

 Types of Teachers:
  • Guru was the one who used to lead a gruhasta (family) life and earn his livelihood himself or after imparting education or knowledge to his disciples and maintain his family or lives alone.
  • Acharya  - He is a Master of his subject. Acharya Drone of Mahabharata period was master in war education. Kripacharya was master in Veda. Chanakya was master of Arthsastra (Economics) and Administration.
  • Upadhyaya was the one who adopted teaching as a profession to earn his livelihood and taught only a portion of the Veda or Vedangas.
  • Charakas or wandering scholars toured the country in quest of higher knowledge. Thought not normally competent as teachers they were regarded as possible source of knowledge by Satapatha Brahmana. Hiuen Tsang was struck with the knowledge gained by some of the wandering teachers (called Bhikkhus and Sadhus during his times) and who had accumulated a treasure of knowledge by constant travel and who used to gladly impart it to others.
  • Yaujanasatika were teachers famous for their profound scholarship that students from distant places, as far as from a distance of hundreds of miles would come to seek their guidance.
  • Sikshaka was a teacher who gave instruction in arts like dancing.
