Eat festive foods and enjoy Holi. - 

Pua and Mal Pua - 

People eat sweets made in home and from nabours. 

Sweets specially made on this occasion are dry Apup (in Sanskrit) known as Pua, made of wheat powder, Semolina, Fine Flour  pasted in milk, cream, sugar, ghee, dry fruits. It is baked in ghee.  

Milk Pua, which is also known as Malpua is made as Pua, only it is socked in milk for and served with milk juice. 

Its milk juice is prepared mixed with Kesar (saffron), cardamom, and sugar, cream and boiled till it gets mixed properly, than that Pua is put into it for at least for two hours before eating. 

It can be put for more time and must be put into Refrigerator so that it will sock the milk properly which will give it a superb test. 

It is also good for energy.   

Baked Gujhya -

The casing is made with whole wheat and semolina (suji) instead of refined flour (Maida). It is then stuffed with nuts, baked perfect and dipped in honey. This recipe is a dream come true for all the health fanatics.

Chocolate Gujaya - 

Fusion is the flavor of the season! Make this Gujiya stuffed with mava and chocolate chips. Garnish with cream and chocolate sauce. 

Coconut Gjiya -  

Pockets made with all purpose flour are stuffed with khoya, nuts and tender coconut flakes. These are fried and dipped in sugar syrup.

Dahi (Curd) Bada – made of wheat flour, salt, spices, Curd.
